
Today we celebrate Tini Ridgley! When Tini came to me, she wanted to master her mindset. She felt it was the key to helping all her other goals fall in line. And she was right on the money! Your mindset dictates everything you aim to achieve. Together we created a list of all her goals, then broke them down into bite size chunks and actionables, with mindset as our number one priority. In the background we fine-tuned her training, nutrition and other lifestyle habits, into manageable pieces to avoid overwhelm. Her results speak for themselves. This was never about fat loss; but fat loss was certainly achieved along the way. I want to extend a HUGE congratulations to Tini who is one of the most coachable women I know. You are truly a gem to work with love and I’m so super proud of everything you have achieved! Well done hun!

Here is Tini’s story in her own words:
“Before I started coaching with Terri, I was really struggling with motivation and consistency. I knew what I should be doing, but I couldn’t get into the right mindset to make lasting changes. Over the past year, working with Terri has completely shifted that. I’ve learned to understand what my body needs, focus on myself, be kind and realistic, and accept what is within my control. This has meant I’ve been able to inspire my family to join me on this journey. I now trust myself and the path I’m on. Some of the biggest strategies that helped me were setting realistic goals, being accountable, and changing the way I speak to myself — especially around setbacks. Physically, I feel stronger, fitter, and more confident, but the real achievement has been in how I think and show up for myself daily.
I was stuck in a cycle of starting and stopping. I’d get motivated for a week or two, then fall off and feel like a failure. I didn’t know how to build healthy habits that actually lasted. I also struggled with not having the relevant knowledge to make informed decisions about my health and fitness. On top of that, I found it difficult to understand and regulate my emotional and mental needs, which made the whole journey more overwhelming.
Working through the mindset exercises has helped me identify what truly works for me, and understanding my values has been really enlightening. One big change was learning to focus on small, consistent actions instead of chasing perfection. I also started celebrating non-scale wins — like energy, mood, and strength — and checking in with how I feel, not just what I weigh. Focusing on myself, rather than worrying about others, has enabled me to stay committed and also be a positive example for my family, who are now making their own changes. The structure and support of regular check-ins really helped me stay on track.
I’ve become way more consistent with my training, and I’ve built a healthier relationship with food. I feel stronger, more energetic, and more confident in myself. I’m also starting to better understand what my body is asking for and learning to make adjustments to support its needs. One of my biggest achievements has been shifting my mindset — I’m no longer as hard on myself, and I’m proud of my progress, both physically and mentally.
