How she felt before working with me, Coach Terri:
When my client first came to me, she was running on empty. She told me, “I’m barely eating anything, but I’m still gaining weight. I have no appetite, and I’m exhausted all the time.” Sound familiar?
She was doing all the “right” things she thought she was supposed to—cutting calories, staying busy, pushing herself through the day—but nothing was working. And worst of all, she felt completely stuck. Her confidence was at an all-time low, and she was losing hope.
Like many women ‘barely eating’ and skipping breakfast and/or lunch, lead to snacking in the evenings, waking at 3am and feeling tired and grumpy throughout the day.
How she feels now:
Fast forward a few months into working together, and this same woman now is now eating more food than she has in years, leading to so much more energy, and therefore more active. Her body has started to respond to nourishment instead of restriction, and her mindset has completely shifted from self-punishment to self-respect. Her mood has improved and she is so much better at being able to think rationally and tackle life’s challenges without feeling completely overwhelmed and anxious all the time.
She’s no longer dragging herself through the day, she’s moving with purpose and confidence. She’s not chasing a quick fix, she’s building a strong, sustainable lifestyle. And she’s not just looking better, she feels better. Confident. Capable. Empowered.
That’s what happens when you stop starving your body and start supporting it.
