ABOUT TERRI BATSAKIS
Hi, I’m Terri Batsakis — a Certified Menopause Coaching Specialist, Nutrition Coach, and Health & Mindset Coach for women navigating perimenopause and menopause.
For over 15 years, I’ve supported thousands of women through my former businesses, Terrific Fitness and Freedom Fitness For Women. Over time, my work has evolved — because what women in midlife actually need goes far beyond training plans, meal plans, or pushing harder.
Because in perimenopause, it’s rarely just about food or exercise.
It’s about hormonal changes and how they affect your body and brain. Stress and nervous system overload. Emotional regulation, shifting identity, confidence, and self-trust. When these pieces aren’t understood or supported, women often end up blaming themselves for things that are not their fault.
I understand this not just professionally — but personally.
I’m 52, and I’ve lived this stage of life too. I know what it feels like to struggle with brain fog, fatigue, emotional eating, disrupted sleep, and mood swings. I know the quiet frustration of thinking, “Why don’t I feel like myself anymore?” while still showing up for everyone else and trying to hold it all together.
That lived experience, combined with my professional background, is what shapes how I coach today.
HOW I SUPPORT WOMEN
My work now focuses on supporting women in their 40s and 50s through the physical, emotional, and identity shifts of perimenopause and menopause in a way that feels calm, intelligent, and sustainable.
Rather than offering quick fixes or rigid rules, I coach through education, understanding, and support. I help women learn what is actually happening in their bodies during perimenopause, how hormonal changes affect mood, energy, sleep, appetite, and stress tolerance, and why old strategies often stop working.
My coaching integrates education around the five key pillars that support women in midlife — sleep, stress, nutrition, hydration, and movement — alongside mindset and behavioural coaching to address self-sabotage, emotional eating, people-pleasing, and loss of confidence.
This work is not about perfection or willpower. It’s about helping women calm their nervous systems, reduce self-blame, and rebuild trust in themselves so change can actually stick.
WHAT I HELP WOMEN WITH
Reducing and managing hormonal symptoms such as fatigue, poor sleep, mood swings, hot flushes, brain fog, and anxiety. I support women to calm emotional eating, cravings, food noise, and self-sabotage patterns, and to rebuild confidence, self-worth, and self-trust.
I also help women navigate identity shifts, set healthier boundaries, step out of people-pleasing, and create sustainable fat loss or body recomposition using perimenopause-aligned nutrition and realistic strategies that fit real life.
Above all, I help women feel calmer, clearer, and more in control of their bodies and their lives again.
